Cheesecake for a Crowd

Cheesecake for a Crowd
1 white cake mix
1 (8oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened
4 c. powdered sugar
1 pt whipping, cream, whipped  
OR 1 (12oz) carton Cool Whip
2 (16 oz) cans cherry pie filling
OR  1 Danish Desert (pie filling recipe)

Prepare cake mix according to package directions.  Bake on a large cookie sheet for 20 minutes.  Remove from oven and allow cake to cool.  Mix creamed cheese and powdered sugar.  Fold in whipped cream.  Spread mixture onto cake.  Top with Cherry pie filling.  Refrigerate until ready to serve.  Makes 24-30 servings.  I like to use the Raspberry Danish desert and add raspberries and Huckleberries.   Just make sure you let your Danish desert cool off.
